Promise Active SuperShots for Cholesteral
I started using Promise Activ SuperShots last week in hopes to lower my cholesterol. They have active plant sterols. You need to consume 2 grams of plant sterols a day to help lower your cholesterol. Each tiny 3 ounce bottle contains just that! You can get plant sterols in some fruits and vegetables, but they are only in trace amounts. You have to eat 100 lbs of the fruits, nuts and vegetables to equal 2 grams of plant sterol!
The flavor of the yogurt is very good! The consistency is a little thicker than milk, and the flavor is perfect. It really doesn't taste like yogurt. It comes in Peach, Strawberry and Raspberry. I have tried Peach and Strawberry. Not sure if I will purchase raspberry, I am not a big fan of it. You are supposed to take them with your food for maximum cholesterol absorption. I get my cholesterol tested in about a month, so we'll see if it works!
